This course equips first-semester GFTM-students with foundational skills in scientific research, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative methods. By the end of the course, students will be able to perform comprehensive literature reviews, critically evaluate research articles, and understand key research designs used in scientific studies. The course covers essential qualitative methods such as interview studies and content analysis, as well as quantitative approaches like surveys and experimental research, along with relevant statistical analyses.
